Disney is one of the biggest names in the Animation business and we all are familiar with the famous cartoon characters created by Disney Studios. Jack Skellington
Jack Skellington is one of the famous character from a 1993 Stop Motion Disney movie, The Nightmare before Christmas. He is a skeleton dressed in a black pin-striped suit with a bow tie which looks like a bat. He has a pet ghost dog named Zero who has a glowing nose. Jack is a spirit that scares people on Halloween nights.

Oogie Boogie
Oogie Boogie is from the same movie, The Nightmare before Christmas. He is a boogey man with a star shape like body made up of burlap sack. He has a large colony of bugs along with two spiders and a snake inside his sack like body. Oogie Boogie is a gambler and likes gambling. He always has a pair of dice in his hand that indicates his interest in gambling.

Mickey Mouse
Mickey Mouse is a famous cartoon and the official mascot of the Disney created by Walt Disney and Ub Iwerks in 1828. He first appeared in the short film Steamboat Willie. Mickey Mouse mostly appeared in the short films and his nine cartoon films were nominated for the Academy Award for Best Animated Short Film. He is the first ever cartoon character to have a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fames.

Minnie Mouse
Minnie Mouse was created in 1928 to complement the Mickey Mouse. She first appeared in a movie Plane Crazy with Mickey Mouse. After that she appeared in the film Mickey’s Follies which featured the first performance of the song Minnie’s Yoo Hoo. However, in 1930s, appearance of Minnie in Mickey’s cartoon become less numerous because of the popularity of the Mickey, Donald and Goofy’s comedy trio but still she appeared in main roles in some cartoons shorts. In 1980, she did a comeback in Mickey’s Christmas Carol, then got her lead role in the movie Totally Minnie.

Donald Duck
Donald Duck is another Disney character created in 1934 by Walk Disney Productions. He is a famous cartoon character mainly known for his funny voice and mischievous nature. This famous cartoon was voiced by the Voice artist Clarence Nash. Donald Duck was first appeared in The Wise Little Hen (1934). In 2002, Donald Duck was included in the list of 50 greatest cartoon characters by TV Guide magazine. After Batman, Superman, Spider man and Wolverine, Donald Duck was the fifth most published comic character in the world.

Daisy Duck
Daisy Duck was created to complement the Donald Duck and appeared in ten Donald’s cartoons as his beloved. She was first appeared in the short film Mr. Duck Steps Out in 1940 but, the fact says that she first appeared in 1937 in an animated short film Don Donald as Dona Duck. Between 1940 and 1954, she appeared in 11 short films and also in Mickey’s Christmas Carol and Fantasia. However, in these movies, Daisy appeared in supporting roles but in 1947 she got her starring role in Donald’s Dilemma.

Goofy Goof
Goofy, originally known as Dippy Dawg, is a tall and foolish dog created in 1932 by Walt Disney Productions. He debuted in Mickey’s Revue animated cartoons short and during 1930s, he appeared with Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck as a part of a comedy trio. Later on, He appeared in his own series and his two shorts, How to Play Football and Aquamania, were nominated for the Oscar.

Pluto
Pluto, the pet dog of Mickey Mouse, is created in 1930 and debuted in Disney’s Animated Cartoons. He also appeared in Mickey Mouse shorts as Mickey’s pet and later in 1937 he got his own series. Between 1930 and 1953, Pluto appeared in 89 short films. Many of his movies were nominated for Academy award and in 1942, one of his films, Lend a Paw won the award because of the physical humor of the character.
